BACKGROUND
Adventure Mates is a PNW based adventure community founded in 2019 by two friends that were looking to expand their circle. Its mission is to bridge the gap between outdoor adventures and social experiences. The business goal was to increase the number of mates (1000 Mates by Q4 of 2022) signed up for excursions.
OPPORTUNITY
Encourage “casual adventurers” — people who don’t think they are “outdoorsy” and baby risk takers who want to join in on the excursions alongside people who can guide them
INSIGHT
Casual Adventurers perceive the outdoor community as “Intimidating”
STRATEGY
#ShareYourAdventure — Adventure is better together and we wanted to make every touchpoint of our campaign to allow mates to share their experiences with people
COMMS GOALS
Encourage more “Casual Adventurers” to become Mates through
1. Driving general community engagement via Adventure Mates’ Social Media platforms and website
2. Develop partnerships through complimentary brands
