BACKGROUND

New Venture Championship (NVC) is a global entrepreneurial investment competition founded in 1992 and presented by the University of Oregon Lundquist College of Business. The core values are to educate, inspire, and empower future entrepreneurs with the opportunities it provides. Our team was tasked to increase its awareness after having last year’s competition (2021) moved to remote during the pandemic.

COMMS GOALS

  1. Increase team sign-ups across the competition’s four disciplines (Engineering, Technology, Medical Field, and Environment Science)

  2. Promote an association of New Venture Championship (NVC) with competitive teams instead of competitive individuals

  3. Reestablish an NVC presence in the Lundquist College of Business community (Eugene & Portland) alongside remote competition models

MY ROLE: Strategist

I was a creative guide and leader throughout this campaign by crafting a strategic narrative for NVC and briefing creatives on the direction of “team motivation”.
